My Claude App is a personal tool that connects the owner’s own Google Drive to the owner’s Claude AI assistant. It is for personal use only and is not offered to the public. This policy explains what the app does with Google data.
In short
- The app collects no data from anyone.
- It has no servers, no database, no analytics and no cookies.
- It never sells, shares or transfers Google user data to anyone.
- It is used by one person, its owner, on the owner’s own Google account.
Google data the app can access
When the owner signs in, the app asks Google for permission to use Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Apps Script on the owner’s own account. It uses this access only to carry out tasks the owner asks for, such as finding a file, reading a document, or updating a spreadsheet.
How the data is handled
- The app runs on the owner’s own computer. Google data is fetched directly from Google to that computer.
- The sign-in token is saved in a file on that computer and is not sent anywhere else.
- When the owner asks Claude to work with a file, the content of that file becomes part of the owner’s own conversation with Claude, which is handled under Anthropic’s own privacy policy.
- Nothing is stored or logged by the app on any website or third-party server.
Sharing and selling
Google user data is not sold, rented, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train any model by this app.
Google API Services User Data Policy
My Claude App’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
The app keeps no copy of Google data. The owner can end the app’s access at any time by removing it at myaccount.google.com/permissions and deleting the saved token file from the computer it runs on.
Children
The app is not directed at children and is not available to the public.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects how data is handled, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change.
